QCF Corporate Philanthropist of the Year 2011

The Morgans Foundation was named Queensland Community Foundation's 2011 Corporate Philanthropist of the Year.

The Foundation was awarded for its continued support of Arthritis Queensland since 2005. One in five Queenslanders live with arthritis and there is a growing number of people who need support for their own bone health.

Foundation Chairman, Bruce Wallis (pictured below), received the award on behalf of the Foundation at the Brisbane Hilton on Monday, 11 July 2011. The award was presented by the Hon. Mike Ahern, former premier of Queensland.
