The Morgans Adviser Conference is our flagship annual event, bringing together advisers from across Australia for two days of collaboration, industry insights and professional development. Held most recently at the W Hotel Brisbane, the conference focuses on empowering advisers to navigate evolving markets and deliver exceptional outcomes for their clients.

Angus Glenn

Angus Glenn is a Client Sales Executive with Vanguard Australia, responsible for distributing Vanguard’s investment suite and wealth management resources to Australian financial advisers so they can best serve their clients. He has supported advisers since 2016 and joined Vanguard in 2020 at its head office in Malvern, Pennsylvania, following 20 years as a self-employed entrepreneur in marketing and business development across Queensland. Angus holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Griffith University and is RG146 accredited.

Dr Matt Agnew

Dr Matt Agnew is a scientist and communicator who makes STEM fun and accessible for everyone. An engineer, astrophysicist and artificial intelligence expert, he is a popular science commentator across television, public talks and social media, known for turning complex ideas into engaging, relatable content for audiences of all ages. Dr Matt holds a Doctorate in Astrophysics from Swinburne University of Technology and a Masters in Artificial Intelligence from Deakin University, and now calls Melbourne home.

Joel Teasdel

Joel Teasdel is Head of the Wealth Management Group, Asia ex-Japan, and Vice President at Dimensional, the US-based global asset manager with over USD650 billion in AUM. Born in New Zealand and educated in Australia, he has spent his career in wealth management across London, Europe and, for the past eight years, Singapore. Joel partners with leading private wealth managers across APAC to enhance investment processes and client outcomes for end investors.

Paul Stocker

Paul Stocker is Practice Development Manager in Vanguard Australia’s Financial Adviser Offer team, working closely with Australian financial planning practices to help them grow and deliver better outcomes for clients. He provides consultative support across client value proposition and engagement, business scalability and efficiency, and operations and people, drawing on his experience leading the advice function at a self-licensed firm in Melbourne. Paul is a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce.

Fiona Sperou is Director of Training & Development at Rowland, working with leaders to communicate with greater confidence and impact. Dale Scally is a Melbourne-based Regional Director and Vice President on the Practice Management team in Dimensional’s Global Client Group, helping clients run efficient advisory practices and achieve their business and client objectives with greater certainty and less risk. He previously spent around 10 years as owner, director and adviser of a boutique advice business in Perth, after earlier roles as a financial adviser and stockbroker. Dale has been a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) since 2009 and holds a Bachelor of Business from Curtin University.
