Our community support

The Morgans Foundation has been dedicated to supporting Australian charities since its establishment by Morgans Financial Limited in 2005. The Foundation works with local Morgans branches to assist their staff in supporting their communities and raise funds for charities that are changing Australian lives. We recognise the ongoing need for sustained support and the importance of collective efforts in creating positive change.

TRACTION’s purpose is to spark young people’s potential
TRACTION deliver evidence-informed, hands-on learning and mentoring programs, to help young people engage in education and build the resilience and skills they need to thrive. They partner with schools and other referral agencies to get young people learning ‘on the tools’, in the workshop, alongside our trained mentors.

Sometimes young people need extra support to reach their potential, and TRACTION’s safe and supportive environment provides the boost they need towards a positive future.

Diggers Rest - A Soldiers Retreat
The goal is to create a friendly, relaxed environment offering self-catering respite accommodation free of charge for any active or former member of the ADF and their families who need a space to reset, reconnect with family, and reintegrate into society. This welcoming environment encourages return visits whenever needed, fostering social inclusion and rebuilding connections with loved ones and mates. The aim is to reduce social isolation, alleviate family stress caused by isolation, and address feelings of worthlessness within the community. Programs such as working bees provide meaningful missions or tasks, promoting long- and short-term goal-setting and fostering connections between those in need and those who can assist, in collaboration with like-minded ESOs.

Pro-Bono Advice Services

With the support of the Morgans Foundation, the Pro-Bono Advice Service connects Morgans advisers with community members facing financial challenges. Our goal is to positively impact individuals and families in need, providing guidance and education to enhance their financial well-being. Morgans leverages skills from various professional areas within our business to broaden the support we offer. Our assistance is provided on a best endeavours basis, and depending on your needs, may involve a referral to a Financial Counsellor—a qualified professional offering free and confidential pro bono advice and support.
