Ted Codd
Adviser - Wholesale Services
With many years of experience, I have been able to provide my clients with excellent results derived from research and market knowledge.
Ted was a senior advisor at Bell Potter for over 26 years, focusing on wealth creation and wealth preservation. I started in stockbroking in 1970 at Hattersley & Maxwell. Became a individual member of the Australian Stock Exchange in 1983.
Following this I joined Roach & Co (part of the McIntosh group) , which ultimately became Merril lynch.
I then joined Bell Potter in 1999.
Investment Style
I have been very focused on the mining sector since the early 70s. I also have a strong interest in the biotech sector having founded & then floated the first biotech company listed in Australia on the ASX in 1986, called Peptide technology. Notably, I was also heavily involved in the New Guinea Mining IPO, which later formed Lihir Mining Limited (one of the largest gold companies on the ASX). Lihir Mining was taken over by Newcrest Mining Limited many years later.
