Our community support

The Morgans Foundation has been dedicated to supporting Australian charities since its establishment by Morgans Financial Limited in 2005. The Foundation works with local Morgans branches to assist their staff in supporting their communities and raise funds for charities that are changing Australian lives. We recognise the ongoing need for sustained support and the importance of collective efforts in creating positive change.

Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing
The Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing (CHeBA) is a world leader in innovative research into the ageing brain, with a vision of achieving healthier brain ageing and better clinical care of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.  Wipeout Dementia is a key fundraising event sponsored by Morgans which supports The Dementia Momentum initiative. The campaign brings together teams of socially conscious corporate surfers to raise funds for research while increasing awareness about modifiable lifestyle factors to reduce the risk of dementia. Every dollar raised through Wipeout Dementia goes to advancing CHeBA’s large-scale research into prevention of dementia.

Habitat for Humanity Australia
In Australia, our programs include: addressing the housing deficit through construction of affordable housing; working with domestic violence service providers to construct crisis and transitional accommodation; building the resilience of communities impacted by natural disasters; and training women from disadvantaged background in construction skills and supporting them into employment. Alongside our work in Australia, Habitat for Humanity Australia supports programs across the Asia Pacific including in the Pacific Islands (Fiji, Vanuatu and Solomon Islands), Cambodia, Vietnam, Nepal and Bangladesh. Through these programs, Habitat work with communities to identify vulnerabilities and enhance their capacity to adapt to risks in their local environment, so they can better withstand and prepare for climate change and natural disasters.
