Donated to Big Dry Friday

The Morgans Foundation has been dedicated to supporting Australian charities since its establishment in 2005, and we are immensely proud of the impact we've been able to make. Our commitment to giving back remains steadfast, with initiatives like Big Dry Friday, launched in 2018, connecting city and country and providing financial assistance where it's needed most. We deeply value the involvement of our staff, whose contributions are matched by the Foundation, amplifying the reach of our support. We recognise the ongoing need for sustained support and the importance of collective efforts in creating positive change across Australia.

Commitment to major beneficiaries and partnerships

Here at Morgans, we maintain an unwavering commitment to major beneficiaries and collaborate closely with branch-nominated local charities. We are proud to partner with organisations where staff members are deeply connected and involved, placing our Morgans team at the heart of every collaboration. This approach ensures an authentic and personal relationship with all the organisations we support. Together, we dedicate ourselves to empowering communities, enabling growth, and leaving a lasting impact.

National Emerging Art Prize

Founded in 2021 by Michael Reid Galleries and Morgans, the National Emerging Art Prize exists to not only offer a robust and highly-visible platform to showcase artists in the emerging stages of their career, but also to provide the winners and runners up with a significant cash prize, mentoring and media exposure to further support their practice, and to provide a pathway to a long-term art career and representation.

Our annual Big Dry Friday

A day to connect city and country, providing support where it's needed most. The concept is simple, on a Friday, once a year, city people forgo (or match) what they might spend on a nice lunch or drinks and donate it to the cause.

The aim is to create long-term benefits by supporting charities focused on education, mental wellbeing, healthcare and those suffering financial hardship through natural disasters.

Pro-Bono Advice Services

The Pro-Bono Advice Service connects Morgans financial advisers with community members facing financial challenges. Our goal is to positively impact individuals and families in need, providing guidance and education to enhance their financial well-being. Morgans leverages skills from various professional areas within our business to broaden the support we offer. Our assistance is provided on a best endeavours basis, and depending on your needs, may involve a referral to a Financial Counsellor—a qualified professional offering free and confidential pro bono advice and support.
