Joe Gallagher

Industry Experience

Joe Gallagher has over 20 years experience working as a fund manager, institutional dealer and analyst. He joined from Goldman Sachs JB Were Asset Management where he managed a Trans-Tasman equity portfolio out of Auckland, New Zealand.

Prior to that, Joe worked as an institutional dealer for Goldman Sachs JB Were, Deutsche Bank, Bankers Trust and HSBC in London. He started off his financial career as a small cap analyst in Brisbane.

Joe is remunerated by way of salary and percentage of fees. As a shareholder of Morgans Holdings (Australia) Limited, I may be entitled to a share of profits. I am eligible to participate in a bonus scheme depending upon performance.

Investment Style

Joe has a strong analytical approach to investing. He has covered both the Australian and wider Asian/Pacific equity markets and has a good feel for how Australian companies stand in the global market.
