Join our network
Morgans is Australia's largest full-service national stockbroking and wealth management network with more than 240,000 client accounts, 500 advisers and 950 employees operating from offices in all states and territories.
Our network continues to expand due to the success of our advisers whom are given the flexibility to offer their clients a traditional full service stockbroking and wealth management relationship.
There is no prescriptive Morgans client advice model. Each adviser is free to shape their client advice model to suit the needs of their clients and their own background and personality.

A choice of structure
When joining Morgans, you have a unique choice of three structures under which to operate:
The Morgans owned offices can accommodate individual advisers or a team of advisers. Remuneration structure is commission based with team and dealing room profit pools, as well as the potential availability of a shareholding in Morgans Holdings Limited.
The Morgans branches operate under individual branch management agreements and the financial relationship is based on a share of revenue model. A number of our branches are either owned by or have strategic joint ventures with Accounting firms. Individual advisers or a team could join an existing branch.
There are some opportunities for advisers to establish new Morgans offices in selected areas around the country.
Morgans delivers a comprehensive range of research reports, attractive corporate investment opportunities, marketing tools, systems, support and training to assist advisers in developing their businesses.
As a full service broker, we offer clients more than just investing in shares on the ASX, including portfolio construction and administration.
We also have a specialist derivatives team that provides support and training in options strategies and derivatives for Morgans advisers.
The income and fixed interest securities team provides specialist advice and research across a wide range of listed and unlisted income and fixed interest securities. Attractive cash and income opportunities are regularly highlighted for advisers and their clients.
The Morgans Research Team is one of the leading teams in the country. We provide access to a full range of publications so you can communicate with your clients and prospects as you see fit. These communications are published daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly or as needed.
Our Corporate Finance team specialises in providing corporate advice and capital raising solutions for small and mid cap companies, including IPOs, placements, rights issues, share purchase plans, takeover defense, merger and acquisition advice and strategic reviews.
Through these dealings, attractive investment opportunities are regularly made available to private and institutional clients.
Whilst our reputation was established in stockbroking, we offer clients a full range of financial services including:
Training and development
Knowledge is an important part of our business - keeping abreast of market movements, company updates and legislative changes.
Our Training and Development Manager co-ordinates learning outcomes suited to your business and your needs.
Onboarding and transition
As part of the service provided to new advisers and Branches joining the Morgans network, we provide back office functionalities that aid in the smooth transition of client accounts and data that aim to make the process as seamless as possible.
We cater for all business models – equities, options, wealth management and financial planning.
Depending on the circumstances and your individual situation, client accounts can be transferred by either:
a. Bulk data transfers via what is known as Appendix H. In this situation all HIN and Holdings data is transferred electronically, directly into pre established accounts. Morgans will manage each step of the process, to ensure the client data is established in an efficient and compliant manner.
b. Broker to Broker transfers, which is a more manual process where Appendix H is not an option. Where Broker to Broker transfers are required, Morgans provides assistance through the entire process.
Assistance provided includes:
- sample marketing material on the benefits of Morgans
- sample letters to clients explaining the transfer process
- assistance with mail mergers and mail outs
- preparation of the accounts – equities, options and wealth management including managed funds and insurance
- rebuilding and loading the client data
- establishing compliant client files
- liaising with AFSLs, fund managers and other third party providers
- welcome letters and web access for clients
- project management and regular review on each step in the process
